The Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star is an American, single-engine, all-metal, low-wing training aircraft. The T-33 was based on the F-80, by remodelling the interior surfaces and adding a second pilot's seat. The first T-33 made its flight in March 1948 and the production was finished in 1959. There were produced 5691 planes of this type. The T-33 was also used as a plane for towing the "targets" during the shooting trainings. A version RT-33A was produced as a reconnaissance plane with a camera on the bow of the plane. The T-33 was widely exported to 39 countries of the world, among others to Germany, France, Belgium, Brazil or Canada. Technical data: length: 11.49m, wingspan: 11.86m, height: 3.57m, maximum speed: 970km/h, practical ceiling: 14600m, maximum range: 2050km, armament: fixed - 2 machine guns M3 cal.12.7mm, suspended - up to 907 kg of bombs.
